On Saturday mornings , Starbucks gets pretty busy . We get the soccer teams , the families , the kids , and the elders that want to come in and enjoy a cup of coffee. The rush of trying to get drinks completed efficiently and fast is sometimes more on the difficult side . Especially when you get a complicated drink that comes in… You get a Decaf , 2 Ristretto shots , 6 different pumps of syrup , different milk that is not standard for the drinks, and extra whip cream and toppings ! You first start off by adding the syrup , getting the correct milk, steaming the milk and getting the perfect foam, cueing the shots , pouring the milk and making nice foam / latte art, adding the extra whip and the extra toppings and then you’re ready to hand off the completed drink . It can slow down the process and make it hard for customers to understand that some customers in front of them have ordered multi step drinks and that all drinks are made correctly so that we don’t get returned drinks to redo and make the process even slower. But all drinks are made efficiently and great so that Starbucks can keep their customers happy and satisfied .
My favorite image was the latte art because it was really pretty with all the hearts and the final picture with the completed project .
